Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at BIT HOME (bithome.tn). We stand behind the quality of the computer hardware and electronics we sell. Please review our policy regarding returns, defective items, and digital products below.
1. All Sales Are Final
Please ensure that the components, peripherals, or products you are purchasing are correct and compatible with your system before completing your order. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for “change of mind,” buyer’s remorse, or incompatibility issues.
Returns are strictly limited to physical items that are proven to be defective or Dead on Arrival (DOA).
2. Digital Products and Software
Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales of digital products are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:
Software licenses and activation keys
Digital downloads and operating systems
Digital gift cards
In-game currency or downloadable content (DLC)
Once a digital product has been purchased and the activation key or download link has been delivered to you, the sale is final and cannot be reversed under any circumstances.
3. Reporting a Defective Physical Item
If you believe you have received a defective physical product, you must contact us within [7] days of receiving your order. After this timeframe has passed, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly to seek support or repairs under their official warranty policy.
4. Eligibility for a Defect Return
To be eligible for an exchange or refund due to a hardware defect, the following conditions must be met:
No Physical Damage: The item must be free of any user-induced physical damage (e.g., bent CPU pins, cracked screens, liquid damage, severed cables, or burnt components from improper installation/overclocking). User damage immediately voids any return claim.
Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all anti-static bags, manuals, cables, and accessories.
Serial Numbers: The serial number on the physical item must match the serial number on your original BIT HOME invoice and the original packaging.
Proof of Purchase: You must provide your receipt or order number.
5. The Return Process (RMA)
If your physical item meets the criteria above, please follow these steps:
Contact our support team at info@bithome.tn to report the defect and request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please include a detailed description of the problem and photos/videos if applicable.
Do not ship anything back to us without an approved RMA number.
Pack the item securely in its original packaging and place it inside a protective outer shipping box.
Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the shipping box and mail it to the address provided by our support team.
6. Inspection and Resolution
Once we receive your returned item, our technicians will thoroughly test it to verify the reported defect.
If the item is verified as defective: We will send you a replacement of the exact same item. If the item is currently out of stock, we will issue a full refund to your original method of payment.
If the item is tested and found to be fully functional: The item will be shipped back to you at your expense, and no refund or exchange will be issued. A diagnostic fee may also be applied.
7. Data Privacy and Liability
If you are returning a storage device (HDD/SSD), laptop, or pre-built PC for a defect claim, you are solely responsible for backing up your data and wiping any personal information before sending it to us. BIT HOME is not responsible for any lost data or compromised personal files left on returned devices.
